Jamie A. Koufman

Jamie A. Koufman, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a nationally and internationally renowned laryngologist and surgeon. She is the Founder and Director of the [http://www.voiceinstituteny.com Voice Institute of New York] ; and previously she was Professor of Surgery at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center and the Director of its Center for Voice and Swallowing Disorders.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Koufman has lectured and published in the fields of laryngology. Dr. Koufman also pioneered laryngeal framework surgery in the United States [Koufman JA. She has received the Honor Award and the Distinguished Service Awards of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, as well as the Casselberry Award and a Presidential Citation from the American Laryngological Association.
