Brigham's Ice Cream

Brigham's Ice Cream is an ice cream manufacturer and restaurant chain that operates throughout New England. It is based in Arlington, Massachusetts. History

Brigham's was founded in 1924 by Edward L. Brigham in Newton Highlands, Massachusetts. [ [http://www.brighams.com/about/history.asp Brigham's History] ] In 1929, it merged with Symmes' Durand Company, and began to shift is focus from Newton to Boston. In the 1960s, they merged with Star Markets. In 1993, Brigham's bought Élan Frozen Yogurt, expanding its menu. Today, there are 27 locations throughout Massachusetts. Although November and December are traditionally the worst months for ice cream retail, these are the months Brigham's has its highest sales. On June 27, 2008, Brigham's was officially purchased by HP Hood LLC and Luke Cooper of Deal Metrics, LLC. * Big Dig - Vanilla loosely mixed with liquid caramel, with brownie and chocolate pieces added.

* Dice-Kream (originally called Reverse the Curse, prior to the 2004 Red Sox World Champions title, then renamed Curse Reversed!, until 2007) - Vanilla with chocolate-coated peanuts and chocolate-coated caramel pieces, loosely mixed with fudge sauce.
