- Engadine Public School
Engadine Public School was established in 1932. It now hosts around 300 students per year, from Kindergarten to Year 6. The current principal is David Roffe.
Engadine Public School is part of a linkage program in the Engadine area. Other schools in this program includeEngadine High School , Engadine West Public School and Marton Public School. The school motto is "Learn and serve".History
In 1929, residents of Engadine realised that they needed a local school due to the number of school-aged children. Up until then, local children had been attending schools at Heathcote or Sutherland. In
April , 1930, materials to build a school in Engadine were purchased for around 150 pounds. The then Minister for Education, Mr. D.H. Drummond, wanted a portable classroom to be erected on the site as early as possible.
