ELS Language Centers

ELS Language Centers

ELS Language Centers is an Intensive English Program designed to help students learn English for both academic and recreational purposes. Its schools are typically based on university campuses, such as Oklahoma City University. ELS Language Centers boasts a roster of more than 500 American colleges where its graduates can use its Level 112 completion certificate in lieu of a standardized English test score.

Standardized Testing

ELS Language Centers are TOEFL and TOEIC testing sites. As of mid-2008, roughly 10 of ELS's 50 United States-based centers were also IELTS test centers.

Programs

ELS has two main programs, offered at each of their language centers: its 6 hour-per-day Intensive program, and its 4 hour per day Semi-Intensive program.

Accreditation

ELS Language Centers is accredited by ACCET. In addition, its centers are approved individually by the State Board of Regents for each state in which it operates. The Oklahoma City ELS Language Centers location received an unqualified 5-year approval from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
