Simoa is a river in Buskerud, Norway. The river runs through the municipality of Sigdal, flowing in a south-easterly course until it flows into Drammenselva at Åmot in Modum. The watershed of the Simoa covers 889 km². The Soneren lake on the river lies at a height of 103 m.

The Haugfoss waterfall at Blaafarveværket in Modum, near the end of the rivers course, was developed with hydroelectric power in 1937, it has a capacity of 3.6 MW. The tributary river Horga which runs into Soneren has a second power station (Horga kraftverk) which was built 1988-1990 and has a capacity of 7.2 MW.
