July 1 ,1986 , and was originally using the broadcastfrequency of 95.1 FM (which had previously been the frequency used by CBEE-FM, theCBC Radio One simulcaster of CBE-AM in Windsor, now at 88.1 FM). The CKSY calls originally were meant to denote the word "Cosy", as in the station's format of soft adult contemporary hits. In 2002, CKSY switched frequencies withsister station CKUE to obtain its current frequency of 94.3 FM.CKSY is the home of the
John Tesh Radio Show evenings in southwestern Ontario. The station had previously carried the Canadian feed of Delilah's love-songs show.Both CKSY and CKUE are owned by
