Playbourer

Playbourer is a portmanteau word used by the Manchester University Development Informatics Group of the Institute for Development Policy and Management to describe a person who earns his living playing computer games to earn virtual goods that can be sold for real money. [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7575902.stm] Much of this activity goes on in China with popular MMORPG games such as World of Warcraft being the source of income.
