Athletics at the 1900 Summer Olympics - Men's 1500 metres

The men's 1500 metres was a track & field athletics event at the 1900 Summer Olympics in Paris. It was held on July 15, 1900. The race was held on a track of 500 metres in circumference. Nine athletes from six nations competed.

Medallists

Bennett, who had led the entire distance by a small margin over Deloge, broke off in the final lap. He completed the last 500 metres in a time of 1:10.2 to finish with a total time of 4:06.2, an unofficial world record. David Hall finished two yards behind the third placed John Bray.
