The Sunnysiders

The Sunnysiders

The Sunnysiders were an American country group who enjoyed brief success in the mid-1950s.

The group scored a hit with the song "Hey! Mr. Banjo", which reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1955. Mr. Banjo" is actually comprised mostly of tracks recorded by a group called The Happy Harts. [ [http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:acfpxqqald6e Review of "Hey! Mr. Banjo"] , Allmusic]

Among the group's members were banjoist Fred Morgan and singer Margie Rayburn, who later scored a top ten hit of her own in the U.S..
