Experimental Physiology

"Experimental Physiology" is a peer-reviewed scientific research journal published on behalf of the The Physiological Society. It was established in 1908 as "The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Physiology" is now published monthly (bi-monthly in print).

Experimental Physiology publishes articles in most areas of physiology which further understanding of physiological processes. Papers that deal with both physiological and pathophysiological questions that investigate gene/protein function using molecular, cellular and whole-animal approaches are encouraged as are manuscripts that use computational models to further our understanding of physiological processes.

Access policy: all articles become freely accessible 12 months after publication.
