Katherine Laura Gibbs is an American-born fashion model, stylist, philanthropist and educator of British and German descent.

Following the Elite Model Management Look of the Year Contest, Kate turned down a modeling contract to pursue studies at Villanova University, where she graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration. She studied Spanish and European Studies at the University of Seville in Spain and has done graduate work at New York University. After graduating from Villanova, she shot the first advertising campaign for designer Adrienne Landau and spent the following years living and working in international fashion markets.
