Sanseirui (or Sanseiryu or Sandairyu) is a
karate kata of Southern Chinese (Fujian ese) origin. The name literally means "thirty-six" (steps, or positions of attack and defense) .Versions of it are found in several karate styles, including
Goju-ryu , but it is most strongly associated withUechi-ryu and the related systemShohei-ryu .References
