Misc = "Warm Leatherette" is a song by Daniel Miller, released on the only single by his musical project The Normal as B-side to "T.V.O.D.". It is the first release on his Mute Records label. The lyrics of the song reference J.G. Ballard's novel "Crash". Miller plays a series of sawtooth waves on a Korg 700S synthesizer on the recording. It was recorded using 2 ReVox B-77 tape machines in Daniel Miller's apartment.

It was later famously covered by Grace Jones (see "Warm Leatherette", her album).
