John Andrew Charles "Jack" Kucek (born
June 8 ,1953 inWarren, Ohio ) is a formerpitcher for theChicago White Sox ,Philadelphia Phillies , andToronto Blue Jays . After graduating fromMiami University in by|1974, he was selected in the amateur entry draft. He was traded to the Phillies a few games into the by|1979 season for Jim Morrison. Kucek played the majority of the 1979 season for the Phillies' Triple-A affiliate, and was released in December of the same year. Less than a month later, in January of by|1980, he was signed by the Blue Jays. Kucek split time between Triple-A and the Blue Jays. In by|1981, however, Kucek spent the entire year in the minor league system, and retired after the season.References
