Roger Argenis (born Rogelio Argenis Barraza February 29, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist in the alternative rock band Aerial.Argenis was born in San Jose, California.

In relation to his often ambiguous yet image-heavy poetic lyrics, Argenis quotes: " [Sometimes] my lyrics don't deal with specific topics. I write down on paper the feelings of the moment, it's not easy to explain the contents of the lyrics or give a logical sense to the words. What I write is also a reaction to the music we make, so the Aerial' sound is not pop, it doesn't communicate happy feelings.

Argenis is the lead singer and founder of the alternative rock band Aerial.

Christian faith

Argenis, along with the other members of Aerial, is Christian. In fact, the entire band are of the Christian faith. When interviewed by Corruption Magazine Argenis said, "I agree with Flyleaf's Lacey Mosley when she said in an interview", "Just because our faith influences our music doesn't necessarily believe that makes Flyleaf a strictly Christian band." "We all share the same faith. And so when we deal with the whole 'Christian band thing,' we kind of think about something P.O.D. says, like, 'If you're a Christian, it affects everything in your life. So if you're a plumber, does that make you a Christian plumber?' " Mosley said. "I don't know the answer. We're a band, it's part of who we are, so it comes out in our music, and it's the fuel for what we do. And finding faith saved my life. So I'm not ashamed of it at all. And most of our album reflects that."
