David Grindrod is a British theatre and television casting director, primarily working with Andrew Lloyd Webber.

His West End theatre credits include Mamma Mia!, The Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, West Side Story, Saturday Night Fever and Starlight Express.^[1] More recently he has branched out into film, casting for Mamma Mia and Phantom of the Opera. He has personally appeared in the BBC television series How Do You Solve A Problem Like Maria and Any Dream Will Do assisting Lloyd Webber and as a member of the expert panel. During the Lloyd Webber's appearance during a week of special Hollyoaks shows David Grindrod was regularly seen chatting to Lloyd Webber.

Grindrod is currently sitting in for Andrew Lloyd Webber in his search for the new Dorothy for 'The Wizard of Oz'. (2010)
