Kosva River

Kosva ( _ru. Ко́сьва) is a river in Perm Krai and Sverdlovsk Oblast in Russia. It is a left tributary of the Kama River, and is 283 km long, with a drainage basin of 6300 km².

The river begins in the western parts of Sverdlovsk Oblast. It flows towards the west, and ends up in a bay of the Kama Reservoir. The Kosva is a mountain river wit many waterfalls and rapids, among them the 6 km long Tulymsky Falls. In the middle parts of the river lies the Shirokovskaya hydroelectric power plant. The town of Gubakha is situated by the Kosva.
