January 25 ,1946 ,Ryazanskaya oblast ,Russia ) is a popularRussia ncomposer and singer also known as "Doctor Shlyager" for his superhits,People's Artist of Russia (1996).Dobrynin was born in 1946 by an Armenian father and a Russian mother. He studied at the
Moscow State University and received a diploma of "art historian and theorist" in 1970. Then he worked atTretyakov Gallery andPushkin Museum . As an amateur musician and singer he participated in differentBeatles -style groups. Dobrynin started to compose songs in late-1960's, since 1971 co-operated withOleg Lundstrem orchestra, "Vesyolie Rebyata", "Samotsvety" and other bands. He is an author of more than 1000 songs, based on poems byLeonid Derbenyov ,Robert Rozhdestvensky ,Mikhail Tanich , Ilya Reznik and others.In 1980's Dobrynin started to record his own songs, in 1990 he founded "Doctor Shlyager" band.
Dobrynin's songs are mostly dedicated to unhappy love and romantic events of a person's life. Among his most popular hits are:
