Journal of Higher Criticism

The Journal of Higher Criticism (JHC) is, since 1994, a biannual magazine of "articles dealing with historical, literary, and history-of-religion issues from the perspective of higher criticism" [http://depts.drew.edu/jhc/ ] , published by the "Institute for Higher Critical Studies". The editor of the magazine is Robert M. Price, Professor of Theology and Scriptural Studies. During the magazine's first decade, it was sponsored by The Theological School at Drew University, with Professor of New Testament Darrell J. Doughty (formerly the magazine's associate editor). The magazine continues to be supported by the Atheist Alliance. Amongst the notable contributers the following can be mentioned (except the ones referred to above): Richard Carrier, Barbara Thiering, Earl Doherty, Robert Eisenman, Jacob Neusner and George Albert Wells.
