The line is currently 82 km in length with six stations:
* Beijing North Railway Station (北京北)
* Qinghua Yuan (清华园)
* Qinghe (清河)
* Changping (昌平)

* Badaling (八达岭)
* Yanqing (Nancaiyue) (not the original Yanqing Railway Station)
The train reaches a maximum speed of 160 km/h. A trip from the north station to the Badaling Great Wall takes about 1 hour and 22 min.
