Fleetwood Area School District is a public school district located in north central Berks County in Fleetwood, Pennsylvania. The district serves students in the community of Fleetwood as well as Richmond Township (Walnuttown, Richmond, Moselm Springs, and Virginville) to the north and Maidencreek Township (Blandon, Maidencreek, Evansville, Molltown and Kirbyville) to the south.

*Fleetwood High School- located on North Richmond Street, serving grades 9-12
*Fleetwood Middle School- located on North Richmond Street next to the High School, serving grades 6-8
*Fleetwood Elementary School- located on West Vine Street next to the Middle School, serving k-4
*Richmond Elementary School- off of Route 222 serving students k-4
*Andrew Maier Elementary School- off of Route 73 in Blandon, serving k-4

Willow Creek Elementary School is currently being built in Fleetwood to serve a growing population in the area. The school will be on Walnuttown Road and is scheduled to open in Fall 2009.

History

Due to the rise in population in certain parts of the district, Fleetwood built a new high school in 1998 just a short distance from the old building. Prior to 1998 the high school and middle school shared the same one-floor building. Now the middle school occupies the entire building, while the high school uses a three-floor format.
