Aynur Saygili

A Canadian refugee from Turkey, Aynur Saygili (also "Beser Gezer, Zebra Saygili" [Martin, Gus. "The New Era of Terrorism", 2004. p. 95] ) was deported in 1997 after it was discovered she was a militant in the PKK.

In Canada

Saygili entered Canada after Hanan Ahmed Osman was deported for fundraising for the PKK. She arrived at Mirabel Airport in Quebec aboard a Swiss Air flight, and claimed refugee status.Bell, Stewart. National Post, "A Conduit for Terrorists", September 13 2001] She was arrested in May 1996 at the Kurdish Cultural Centre in Montreal, and accused of turning the group into a private PKK fundraising outfit.
