Installation permitting guidance for hydrogen and fuel cells stationary applications
- Installation permitting guidance for hydrogen and fuel cells stationary applications
The Installation permitting guidance for hydrogen and fuel cells stationary applications (HYPER) EU FP6 project is aimed at developing a fast track approval of safety and procedural issues for small stationary hydrogen and stationary fuel cell applications. [ [http://www.fuelcellstandards.com/europe.htm Hyper at fuelcellstandards] ] . The timeframe is nov 2006 - oct. 2008.
Codes and standards have repeatedly been identified as a major institutional barrier to deploying hydrogen technologies and developing a hydrogen economy. To enable the commercialization of hydrogen in consumer products, new model building codes and equipment and other technical standards are developed and recognized by federal, state, and local governments.
