Hydesville Tower School is a profit-making coeducational Independent school located in Walsall in the West Midlands, England. The school is owned and operated by the Cognita Group, and is the only coeducational independent school in Walsall to offer secondary education. The school has been established for over 50 years.

Hydesville is located on one of the main roads leading out of Walsall behind a row of terraced houses, backing on to the Walsall Arboretum. Whilst the Nursery, Infant, Junior and Senior departments are all located on the same site, they all are individually staffed and homed in their own separate buildings.

Hydesville aims to accept a broad intake of pupils academically, socially and ethnically. Most children enter the school through the Nursery, after their third birthday. Entry is possible in subsequent years, subject to availability of places. There are formal tests for entry at ages 7 and there is a formal test for entry at 11 while in all cases an interview with parents is required. In February/March each year the Senior Entrance Examination is held and places are awarded according to level of attainment. A small number of pupils with minor difficulties work in the main stream classes and receive extra specialist tuition. Hydesville is an ‘Outpost’ of the Dyslexia Institute in nearby Sutton Coldfield and consequently specialist teachers are available on campus. A number of Scholarships and various bursaries are awarded. There is one major and two minor scholarships with other awards for Music and one for an "All Rounder". An occasional Bursary is awarded to an outstanding Junior entrant.

Several of Hydesville's students leave after the junior school to go to the local Grammar schools, Queen Mary's High School For Girls & Queen Mary's Grammar School (for boys) both of which are located less than a five minute walk away, are free and obtain better GCSE and A-Level results.
