Azerbaijani embassy plot

In 2007, a plot attack the American embassy in Baku, Azerbaijan was allegedly uncovered, and multiple suspects arrested.

1st Lt. Kamran Asadov was alleged to have taken four machine guns, a mortar and 20 grenades from his military unit and hidden them in the city for a militant attack. [http://www.nationalterroralert.com/updates/2007/10/29/us-embassy-in-azerbaijan-on-full-alert-as-terror-plot-broken-up/]
