Arkhon Infaustus is a four-piece black metal band from Paris, France. They formed in 1997 and are still active. They are signed to Osmose Productions and have released four albums, their most recent being "Orthodoxyn" which was released in 2007.

Arkon Infaustus was created in late 1997 by Dk Deviant, joined by Torturer [cite web

accessdate=2007-10-25] . They first released an EP entitled "In Sperma Infernum" through Mordgrimm, which was limited to 666 copies. They then signed to Spikekult Records and released another EP entitled "Dead Cunt Maniac" in 2000. This then got them signed to Osmose Productions. They then released their first album entitled "Hell Injection", which was released 2001 and limited to 500 copies. They then went on release another album in 2002 entitled "Filth Catalyst", and toured with Mortician [cite web

They then released another album, entitled "Perdition Insanabilis" in 2004, followed by a European tour with Deicide [cite web

Musical Style

Arkhon Infaustus use distorted raspy vocals, the double bass technique and synthesizers to play a style of black/death metal similar to that of Angelcorpse. Their lyrics usually deal with Satanism, sex, anti-Christianism and general acts of debauchery.
