Steel City Cup

Played between Wednesday and Sheffield United annually for four years. Wednesday only entered a reserve team in 1996, as they concentrated on their preparations for the new Premier League campaign, and this proved to be the catalyst for the Cup's end. The 1993 game doubled up as a testimonial for Derek Dooley.
