The University of Thessaly is a university in Thessaly, Greece, founded in 1984. The university is based in Volos, but operates campuses in Larissa, Trikala and Karditsa. The university comprises four schools—Humanities, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences and Health Sciences three independent departments focusing on Physical Education and Sports Science, Veterinary Medicine and Foreign Languages. Each department has its own associated student organization.
