Marta Fernández Farrés (born December 21, 1981 in Barcelona, España [1]) is a Spanish women's basketball player with Wisła of Poland's PLKK[2] and the Spain women's national basketball team. A 1.80 m (5'11") guard, she played in 2007 with the Los Angeles Sparks of the United States' WNBA.[3]
International
Fernández has represented Spain at the 2004 Summer Olympics, EuroBasket 2005 Women, and 2006 FIBA World Championship for Women.
Personal
Marta Fernández is the sister of Spanish international and Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Rodolfo Fernández.[4]
