Lobke Berkhout

Berkhout sails since 1990 and since 2001 she participates in the 470-class alongside Marcelien de Koning. Together they became World Champion in 2005 in San Francisco. This performance earned them the title of Dutch sports team of the year. In 2006 in Rizhao and 2007 in Cascais they successfully defended their World titles. In 2008 they only finished in fourth position in Melbourne, but their main goal for that year is success at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.
