Luca Bellisomo (born October 25, 1986 in Johannesburg, South Africa) is a Canadian soccer player who is playing for USL First Division side Vancouver Whitecaps. His position is defender and also holds Italian passport by descent.

He was born in South Africa and moved with his family in 1994 to Greater Vancouver.

The centre back played 4 years at the Simon Fraser University. In February 2008 he signed a contract for one year plus option by Vancouver Whitecaps. He played youth soccer for 2 clubs on Lower Mainland before moving with his family to Australia in 2001 and played at U-14 and U-15 levels with North Shore Metro before joining the Delta Selects U-16 side. In Australia, the defender appeared for the Queensland Academy of Sport, the Queensland U-17 state team, and the North Queensland schoolboys side. In Australia he was on the jump to senior men’s soccer team Brisbane Wolves in the Queensland Soccer Federation XXXX League.

He was student at The Cathedral School of St Anne & St James in the Australian town of Townsville, Queensland.

His parents are Jill and Massimo Bellisomo. The defender has a twin brother named Carlo and two older brothers named Andrea and Rob.
