Jonathan O'Dea, MLA (b.1966) is an Australian politican and currently a member of Legislative Assembly of New South Wales. He has been in Parliament since 24 March 2007.

O'Dea was born in Sydney in 1966 to Michael and Marianne O'Dea, and is one of eight brothers and sisters. He is married to Jacqueline and they have four children.

O'Dea attended the University of Sydney and gained a Bachelor of Arts (BA), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Laws (LLM), a Graduate Diploma of Legal Studies, and has a Master of Business Administration (MBA). He was the Vice-President of the University of Sydney Students' Representative Council between 1986 and 1987.

In 2007 he was elected to the New South Wales Parliament for the Electoral district of Davidson and is currently Member of the Committee on the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).
