The Center for International Development (CID) at Harvard Kennedy School performs basic and applied research with the goal to advance human well-being and social progress in the developing world.
The CID, directed by Ricardo Hausmann, has made part of its mission to gather a diverse group of scholars to study different development problems. Some of the people affiliated with the center are Robert Putnam, Dani Rodrik, Michael Kremer and Lant Pritchett.
