China Housing and Land Development Inc. (nasdaq|CHLN) is a Xi'an based company that, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the acquisition, development, management, and sale of commercial and residential real estate properties in the People's Republic of China.
It is the third-ranked housing and land development company in in the Shaanxi province and ranked as the number one private housing and land development company in Xian (ranking assigned in 2005 by the China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors' Association). Consists of a European style community located at 369 North Jinhua Road, Xi'an.It comprises 15 apartment buildings for a total of 1230 apartments. 290,000 sq ft of additional property have been used for commercial businesses.The project was completed in September 2006.
