Robin Doyle (nee McKenna) is a fictional character on the Irish soap opera Fair City.

About Robin

Robin arrived in January 2001 as the new mechanic in Molloy's Garage and soon moved in with Jimmy Doyle and Floyd Phelan.

Robin dated many men. First was Tom but she dumped him when he became too obsessive. Then she dated Lenny and they became engaged. However Robin discovered he wanted her to be a typical housewife so she dumped him. After this she went out with Liam but gave him into the Gardai when she discovered that he was planning on scamming the garage.

Robin always had Jimmy's shoulder to cry on after a relationship came to an end. However their friendship turned to romance when he declared his love for her in 2005. They soon got engaged and planned to get married.

However, during planning for the wedding, Robin developed an eating disorder when she wanted to fit into her wedding dress. It took her a long time for her to admit to her problem and seek help.

In 2006, Jimmy began pressuring Robin to have children. However Robin didn't feel ready yet and the couple argued over the subject many times. Their marriage looked to end there but they managed to reconcile and they agreed to let nature take its course. Jimmy and Robin also bought the apartment block they lived in and became landlords.

In 2007, Jimmy became close to widow Ali Foley when he brought her to hospital where she gave birth. Jimmy ended up having an affair with Ali. Robin found out when she found a picture of the two together and overheard a conversation between the two. Jimmy ends up leaving Robin and goes to live with Ali.

After this Robin and Ali became enemies often bickering at each other. Their constant arguing drove Jimmy out of Carrigstown for good to live in Australia. Jimmy ended up selling his shares in the garage to Robin but Ali got shares from Carol Meehan.

Ali and Robin managed to work together and Robin even convinced her to vote for her to be Manager Director. To secure her position as MD, she slept with Paul Brennan.
