Rory Goff is a fictional character on the Irish soap opera, Fair City. He is portrayed by Colm Ó Maonlaí.

About Rory

Rory arrived in Carrigstown as an undercover Guard trying to arrest Sylvester Garrigan. To try and fool Sylvester, he began a relationship with Sarah O'Leary and told her that he was writing a book on drugs in nightclubs. However Sarah found out that he has an ex wife and kids from his marriage and dumps him.

Rory then began an affair with Carol Meehan to get information on Garrigan. Ali Foley blamed him for her husband, Lorcan's death and was furious when he returned in 2007 and resumed his relationship with Carol.

In 2008, Carol was targeted by the Criminal Assets Bureau and lost her pub, The Galley. Detective Deegan told Rory that his relationship with Carol wasn't good for his job and told him that he should dump her which he did. He also told CAB about an apartment which Carol owned and rented out to Ali Foley, free of charge.

After flirting with Niamh Cassidy, they got together shortly after Rory dumped Carol.

In August 2008, Lana Dowlings body was discovered in the Dublin Mountains. Rory began to get suspicious in Leo Dowling's involvement when he wasn't to shocked to hear that her body was found.
