The “European Ocean Energy Association” (EU-OEA) represents the ocean energy sector and actively promotes the utilisation of ocean energy, uniting the broad interests of the European ocean energy industry into a single, focused and independent voice.The EU-OEA serves to create a platform supporting a number of initiatives in the field of ocean energy, with a comprehensive approach focusing on legislation, funding, regulatory, government relations, as well as on industry, technology and networking.
EU-OEA is a member of EREC (European Renewable Energy Council), which groups together all main European renewable energy industry and research associations. Since January 2007, EU-OEA has shared its headquarters with other EREC members in the Renewable Energy House, in Brussels.
