Bhong is a small but important town of
Rahimyar Khan District in the Punjab province ofPakistan . Bhong is the ancestral land of the Indhars of Rajput descend who migrated fromJasalmir (India ) and settled down in this region.Bhong is notable for the
Bhong Mosque , the only mosque in Pakistan which received the "Agha Khan Architectural Award". This mosque is very beautiful and is a tourist attraction, it was built by Sardar Rais Ghazi Muhammad Indhar . There is also a charity trust hospital "AlGhazi Trust Hospital" [ [http://www.alghazith.org.pk Al Ghazi] ] in Bhong built by Sardar Rais Wazir Ahmed Indhar who is the son of Sardar Rais Ghazi Muhammad.Another famous son of Rais Ghazi is Rais Shabbir Ahmed. He has been an influential political figure of Sadiqabad. Raiz Shabbir Ahmed son Rais Muneer Ahmed is a former fedral minister. Rias Wazir Ahmed has two sons Dr Rais Nasir Mahmood Indhar & Rais Ibrahim Indhar, Rais Ibrahim is a current MPA from dist Rahim Yar Khan.
