Boathouse
Boathouse began when childhood friends Gerry McCrudden and Kieran Hughes started writing songs together. After many different line-ups and projects, they were joined by Mickey McAuley, Keir Hurley and Amy McGarrigle in the form of Boathouse in 2007. They are based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. They released their first EP, “What I Remember’ in 2008 on their own label, Tiny Tuba Records.
Boathouse have had their EP played on BBC Radio Ulster, BBC Radio 1, U105, and Feile FM.
Boathouse have supported the likes of
The Guillemots ,Paul Curreri ,Eugene McGuinness and about to play withThe Bowerbirds . They've been said to have elements of Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, The Hold Steady, Roy Orbison and Interpol.Articles & Reviews
