The 11th Military Police Brigade is a military police brigade of the United States Army based in Ashley, Pennsylvania.

Organization

The brigade is comprised of five reserve military police battalions. The brigade Headquarters and Headquarters Company, as well as the 320th Military Police Battalion are located in Ashley, Pennsylvania. The 324th Military Police Battalion (I/R) is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The 336th Military Police Battalion is located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The 400th Military Police Battalion is located at Fort Meade, Maryland. The 744th Military Police Battalion is located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

History

The 11th Military Police Brigade was originally constituted on December 29, 1966 in the Regular Army as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 11th Military Police Group, and activated February 25, 1967 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It was Inactivated on January 3, 1972 at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Redesignated 13 March 2003 as Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 11th Military Police Brigade; concurrently, withdrawn from the Regular Army and allotted to the Army Reserve. It received a shoulder sleeve insignia on September 17, 2004.

Activated 16 September 2005 with headquarters in Ashley, Pennsylvania. The 11th MP Brigade provides peacetime command and control of five Military Police Battalions in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
