middle school inZanesville, Ohio . Completed in 1924 and named afterPresident Grover Cleveland , it was the city's first junior high school. The school colors, blue and gold, were adopted during its first year of operation, and the first issue of the "Beacon," the school magazine was also published that year. In the summer of 2005, the old Grover Cleveland building was torn down. That fall, the students started class in a new building.
