PGL (company)

PGL is a company established in 1957 by Peter Gordon Lawrence and is the leading provider of activity holidays in the United Kingdom [ [http://www.independent.co.uk/news/obituaries/peter-gordon-lawrence-550381.html Obituary of Peter Lawrence in the Independent] ] .

The company was sold in 2007 to Holidaybreak Plc [ [http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2007/may/18/8 Guardian 2007 article] ] .

As of the beginning of the 2009 season, PGL has 20 centres in the UK, 2 centres in Spain, 10 centres in France, centres in Germany, numerous ski resorts and 'Action Stations' at Eurocamp and Pontins sites located in the UK and France. [ [http://www.pgl.co.uk PGL Website] ]
