Kylmälänkylä is one of the longest villages in
Finland . It belongs to the municipality ofMuhos in the province ofOulun lääni . Kylmälänkylä has a very active village association.The main focus in the
village at the moment is to push a road development plan to theMuhos municipality council, as the roads in the area are in poor condition. Many children also find the heavy trucktraffic dangerous. The road has received a new pavement since that and is much more comfortable to drive.The
future challenges of thevillage in the future are the elderly population and net-loss in thepopulation , as the younger generations tend to move toOulu after work andeducation . The village has seen some families moving in.tatistics
