Richibucto

Richibucto (2006 pop.: 1,290) is a Canadian town in Kent County, New Brunswick. [ [http://www.richibucto.org Richibucto Town Website] ]

term meaning "river of fire". [ [http://www.kent.nb.ca/riveroffire/intro.htm History of Richibucto] ] The downtown area situated on the mouth of the river, has commercial fishing wharves, several restaurants, and local stores. The economy is dominated by lobster and deep sea fishing.

* Hudson Oddities, a modified lighthouse now a popular tourist attraction
