Biography

Forming in 2006, 7 Dollar Taxi have played in venues across Switzerland supporting bands such as Babyshambles, The Blood Arm, The Blue Van, Maxïmo Park, Madsen, The Automatic, and many others, as well as playing outside Switzerland, including dates in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain. The bands single "Do The Robot" was released on Kurofune records in Japan, Bandorama in Switzerland, and is also available in the United Kingdom.

"Do The Robot" was played on various radio and television stations including MTV2, NME TV, Topshop, Huw Stephens' show on BBC Radio 1, Steve Harris's show on XFM, and Tom Robinson's show on BBC 6 Music.

The DJ Megatron, also completed a electro remix of "Do the Robot" in 2008 which is available worldwide on the music store iTunes.

The band's album "Come And Figure It Out" was released in 2006 in Switzerland, and in 2008 it was released in Japan and the United Kingdom .
