Viral communication

Viral communication

Utilising the informal social and peer networks that exist within a workplace to communicate messages effectively, build strong collaborative networks, influence attitudes and behaviors, and drive business change from the ground up.

In recent years, global events, political decisions and market forces have changed the ways in which organizations are structured and operate. In addition, social media and other new technologies are enabling employees to interact with networks of colleagues they might never otherwise have come into contact with – sharing ideas, debating issues and, perhaps, questioning the information and messages they receive from their organization.

Against this backdrop, the concept of ‘viral communication’ has emerged as a more trusted method for getting messages to employees, and as such, now forms an important part of effective internal communication strategies.
