Haji Abdul Ghani Khoso

Haji Abdul Ghani is Head of Jiani Khoso tribe in Sukkur Region. He was born at Village Ali Khan Khoso in 1955. He is well known for his political influence over different tribes of Sukkur. By occupation he is landlord and Government Contractor. His political career started when was elected joint-secretary of Sindh Peoples Student Federation Islamia Collage Sukkur in 1975 and meanwhile his close friend Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah was elected as President SPSF. He was elected Nazim of UC-17 district sukkur in 2001 on platform of Pakistan Peoples Party. After rejection by Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah for issuing the ticket for Taluka Nazim new sukkur, he left Pakistan Peoples Party in 2005 and fought election of Taluka Nazim independently against PPP candidate Abdul Haq Chohan. He was defeated by 5 votes in Taluka Nazim Elections and he also defeaded PPP candidate for District Nazim Elections by 15 votes. In the general election of 2008, he was defeated by PPP candidate Haji Anwar mahar and got 11,580 votes.
