moshav in centralIsrael . Located nearBeit Shemesh , it falls under the jurisdiction ofMateh Yehuda Regional Council . In 2006 it had a population of 314.The village was established in 1952 by immigrants from
Yemen on the basis of a ma'abara set up the previous year. It was named after the biblical city of Kisalon, a name preserved in the abandoned Arab village ofKasla .After its establishment, the Yemenite founders were joined by more immigrants from
Romania . However, it was later abandoned. The moshav was re-established in 1955 by immigrants fromMorocco andTunisia .
