MSW , is apsychotherapist , author, and lecturer known throughout theUnited States of America . She teaches at theUniversity of Michigan School of Social Work, is affiliated with University of Michigan Medical Center’s Sexual Health Counseling Services, and has a psychotherapy practice in Ann Arbor,Michigan . She is certified by the American Assoociation of Seuxuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT)sex therapist and is on the medical advisory board of theIntersex Society of North America .Foley is frequently interviewed by the media and cited in numerous publications for her expertise on
sexual dysfunction and its treatment. She co-authored the critically acclaimed book "Sex Matters For Women: A complete guide to taking care of your sexual self" (Guilford, 2002). Her second book, "Sex and Love for Grownups: A non-nonsense guide to a life of passion" (AARP /Sterling), was released in conjunction with her popular “Modern Love” column on relationships and sexuality for AARP’s bi-monthly magazine.
