Psst Pink

Psst Pink in a 1971 Pink Panther Cartoon. The story deals with the Pink Panther trying to catch a car tyre.

Plot

The Pink Panther is driving his car and, as it comes up a hill, one of the tyres goes flat. He then proceeds to get out of the car and replace the tire with a new one from his boot. He takes the tyre out of the boot and places it on the floor, while then taking off the old tyre. As he places it in his boot, the new tyre rolls away. He tries various tactics to get his tyre back, but in vain. At one point, the tyre lands on a large pole. The panther puts the tyre on his head and climbs up the pole, then, when at the top, he throws it to the ground and it rolls away. At another point, the tyre lands, unfortunately, in a tyre shop. When the panther tries to take his tyre back, the shopkeeper, being the Little Man, gets angry and demands payment for the tyre, however the panther has no money, at which point the shopkeeper gets the police involved. Various other things happen to him and the tyre, including it inadvertently rolling across the telephone wires, and the Panther getting zapped by a tram. At the end, he has managed to get his tyre back, but finds out that his car had stopped in a tow-away zone.
